Era Vulgaris
The first song i heard from Queens of the Stone Age was No one knows. I liked it a lot so i bought Songs for the Deaf. I like almost the complete album except for Six Shooter. I also bought the albums before Songs for the Deaf.
In the beginning of this year i heard there was a new album coming later this year. I searched the internet for new material and i started listening to it. The first thing i noticed was the sound. I didn’t like it very musch. It sounded so muffled. So i hoped it were the MP3 files. But when i bought the album and listened to it and it sounded the same. I started listening more and i liked the songs. But i have still problems with the sound.
I would have liked them to put Era Vulgaris on the record instead of Run Pig Run. The songs Battery Acid, I’m a designer and also Sick, Sick, Sick have good riffs and nice twists. But my favourite record is still Rated R.
My fiance’ just got this and he loves it; I’ll have to give it a listen.
